About Me – The Human Behind MeowMiles
Hi! I’m Kayla Kenney, the founder of MeowMiles. I’m a passionate world traveler, devoted cat parent, and experienced web developer. My love for travel and pets led me to create this website as a way to share my experiences and help fellow pet owners travel with confidence.
For years, I’ve navigated the ins and outs of pet-friendly travel—researching airline policies, testing different pet carriers, finding accommodations that truly cater to pets, and making sure my cats feel safe and comfortable along the way. I know firsthand how nerve-wracking it can be to take your pet on a flight or move to a new country with them, but I also know how rewarding it is to have your pet by your side for every adventure.
Why I Created MeowMiles
I’ve always believed that pets are happiest when they’re with their owners. Unfortunately, many people assume that traveling with pets—especially cats—is too difficult, stressful, or even impossible. But that’s simply not true! Through years of experience traveling the world with my own cats, I’ve learned that with the right knowledge, preparation, and mindset, you can take your pets just about anywhere.
